1. Introduction

Welcome to the privacy policy of Vækst Digital ("we," "our," or "us"). This document outlines how we collect, use, and protect your information when using the Vækst Digital Meta App platform. This app acts as a B2B portal to manage Meta advertising assets for our clients.

2. Permissions and Data Processing

Our application heavily relies on Facebook Login and requests the following specific permissions to function. Under no circumstances do we process data outside the scope of these permissions:

  • ads_read: Used exclusively to pull historical campaign performance metrics, displaying read-only data reports in your dashboard.
  • ads_management: Used to enable campaign creation directly from our interface, allowing you to launch and pause ads via API.
  • pages_show_list: Used to retrieve a list of Facebook Pages you manage so you can select the correct Page when creating new ads or viewing metrics.
  • pages_read_engagement: Used to display deep engagement metrics such as reach, impressions, and comment data on your Page's specific posts.
  • business_management: Used to aggregate your Business Manager assets, letting you seamlessly pivot between client Ad Accounts within your organizational umbrella.

3. Data Usage and Non-Sale Guarantee

All data gathered through the Meta Graph API is used solely to provide the reporting and management services requested by you within the Vækst Digital dashboard. We guarantee that your data, including metadata and campaign statistics, is never sold, rented, or transferred to unassociated third parties.

4. Data Retention

We cache Ads API, Page Engagement metadata, and Business Manager asset identifiers for up to 30 days to facilitate fast dashboard loading. OAuth tokens are stored securely and discarded upon user logout or token revocation.

5. GDPR — Lawful Basis for Processing

Vækst Digital operates under Danish and EU law. Our lawful basis for processing Meta platform data is legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) — specifically, the legitimate interest of managing advertising campaigns on behalf of clients who have entered into a service agreement with Vækst Digital, and who have explicitly authorized access via Meta's OAuth flow. Clients may withdraw consent at any time by revoking app access as described below.

6. Your Rights and Contact Information

You have the right to request access to or deletion of your data at any time. To remove Vækst Digital's access to your Facebook account, you may use the standard Meta App Settings or visit our Data Deletion page.
